I still miss them, that single piece of heavy iron made me understand so much of what past generations lived, that I relate all flat irons to my grandmother. If you go back quite a few posts to out stories about the great depression, you'll see how e invited people to share with olive their depression stories. it worked quite well. lots of responses. And about th flat iron. I have the idea of taking olive to the museum and getting to remember and comment on many items of everyday use.
